The mills

Molino La Flor is a country estate in Jimera de Líbar, in the Guadiaro valley in the Serranía de Ronda. It has two old water mills restored as houses, each with its own pool, beside the river.

It is made for a wedding weekend. The two mills sleep 20 and 15, and Villa Sandía, the glamping area on the other bank, has pods for two or three people, each with its own bathroom.

The estate hosts weddings for 42 to 200 guests and offers its own catering and decoration. The last stretch to the mills is a track along the river through the woods, so agree guest transport with the estate.

Our favourite spots and the best light

We photographed Pierina and Vinnie’s wedding here in September 2026. Their first look was by the river, and the ceremony was in the woods, with hay bales for the guests, a terracotta rug for an aisle and ribbon garlands between the trees.

Dinner was at long tables under paper lanterns. In the late light we went down to the Guadiaro, with its white boulders and clear, shallow water, for many of their couple portraits.

Jimera de Líbar is in the province of Málaga, so there is no travel charge for a wedding here.
