Finca Villa Palma · Marbella
Ana got ready surrounded by her friends in pink satin robes, with cava on the bed and plenty of noise. Then the room went quiet, and she sat by the window in her dress for a moment on her own.
On 6 June 2026, Borja walked into the Iglesia de la Encarnación in Marbella on his mother’s arm, and Ana followed on her father’s, smiling at him all the way up the red carpet. They married in front of a green and gold baroque altarpiece, and when it was done Ana threw her arm up in the air before the first kiss.
Outside, the guests were waiting with baskets of white petals. A dark green Jaguar took them on to the reception at Finca Villa Palma, where we stole a few minutes for portraits among the palms and the garden paths.
The drinks were on the lawn with the hills behind, between family photos, friends lifting Ana off the ground and Borja kissing his mother on the forehead. At dinner, under strings of lights, everyone was on their feet waving napkins, and Ana changed into a second dress to dance.
A gold altarpiece, a shower of petals.
